Asylum Dev Diary 62

Not really an Asylum development post this time. As previously mentioned it was time for a bit of an AlternativeRealities rebrand and so I’ve been spending time on finalising my new logo (hope you like it) and also redeveloping the website. There’s still a few tweaks to be made here and there but I’m happy with how it’s looking so far.

The reason for the change is partly because WordPress 5.0 is being released soon (probably this month – December) and I wanted to get a jump on switching over to the new Gutenberg editor. It’s still in development but at this time it’s more than stable enough to use for a live website.

As for Asylum development. Just a couple of minor tweaks this time. During the development of the basement I discovered that the player depth (Z axis) was wrong when I returned to the first floor. This meant that the player would walk under certain elements such as blood stains. Opps. That has been corrected.
