Asylum Dev Diary 95 – Faces
One addition I’ve been thinking about for quite a while is the inclusion of images next to the dialogue sequences. So that when you’re speaking to a character you can see a profile picture when they talk. Or, if the person isn’t known to you, for example the person talking through the intercom system, I can show an image of the intercom to help make sure the player understands where the voice is.
Below is a screenshot (debug mode) using a placeholder image (not final) just to test placement etc.
The style I’m thinking of for these headshots is 3d rendered. And I’m currently looking into Daz3d or Reallusion’s Character Creator to help out here.
